Overview

This role is an exciting opportunity to drive recruitment for key operational roles—such as warehouse staff, managers, customer service and maintenance engineers—while also supporting professional hiring when needed. The position has the potential to broaden into a European-wide scope. As a hybrid role, you will enjoy a flexible mix of home-based work and time spent at our sites, with the closest site being Hams-hall. You will have real autonomy over your travel schedule and will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, end-to-end recruitment service—from intake meetings with hiring managers to sourcing, screening and onboarding top talent.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers across the UK to recruit for operations roles (warehouse, transport, maintenance)
  • Collaborate with HR leadership and business leaders to develop recruiting strategies that promote diversity and ensure best practices
  • Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies that build a top talent pipeline and meet current and forecasted regional needs
  • Play a critical role in developing the employer brand by ensuring a high-quality recruitment experience for hiring managers and candidates
  • Use the CRM Phenom to manage pipelines and reporting
  • Generate candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed or other job boards and attend recruitment events
  • Previous experience managing operational recruitment within warehousing, logistics or transport is highly beneficial, as is volume recruitment experience
  • Build relationships with candidates and hiring managers
  • Screen candidates to introduce great culture-fit talent
  • Manage workload through recruitment systems (Workday or Phenom advantage)
  • Create and maintain various reports relating to the recruitment process
  • Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written
  • Work remotely and be self-driven to complete tasks without supervision
  • Hold a valid driver’s licence and own car; be part of a multi-country team with a supportive leader and experienced colleagues

  • Experience managing operational recruitment in warehousing, logistics or transport
  • Volume recruitment experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
