Overview
Lineage UK is currently looking for an Operations Performance Clerk to join our new team in Heywood. The Operations Performance Clerk plays a key role in supporting the performance team by tracking and reporting on operational volumes, vehicle utilisation, and customer activity across the network. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented with strong Excel and data handling skills, who enjoys working with numbers and supporting operational insight.
Responsibilities
- Volume Tracking: Monitor and report on overall network volume; track outbound, trunking, and collection volumes per depot; provide customer-level volume insights
- Vehicle Utilisation: Analyse depot-level vehicle numbers and fill rates; conduct rigid vehicle analysis; report on overall network utilisation
- Customer Volume Tracking: Split and report Retail vs. FS volumes; track collection and trunked volumes by customer
- KPI Reporting: Complete and maintain KPI dashboards (TBD); identify trends and support performance reporting
- Retailer Analysis: Provide retailer split and customer analysis; support depot-level retailer performance reviews
- Team and Safety: Continually meet internal and external customer expectations through collaborative teamwork and a willingness to help and support others; commit to a culture of safety, promote a safe work environment through personal actions and identification of any safety concerns
- Performance Improvement: Demonstrate a natural curiosity about the business and take initiative to continually improve performance and work processes through feedback, problem solving and innovation
- Skills: Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, formulas); attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting; ability to work independently and manage multiple data streams
