Opportunity to join an innovative, stable manufacturing business with a global footprint. Reporting to the site Quality Manager you will contribute to the on-going success of the plant through efficient quality reporting, data analysis, client management and CI activities.
What you’ll be doing as a Quality Engineer:
- Manage customer concerns and use quality tools to identify process improvements
- Support internal and external audits
- Support process improvements, CI initiatives and workforce training
- Manage calibration requirements
- Monitor and analyse production data
- Generate quality reporting and documentation
- Occasional UK & EU travel
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Quality Engineering experience in a TS16949 environment
- Able to use tools such as PFMEA, APQP, Control Plans, 5S, Lean etc
- Auditor qualification
- Ability to use data to determine failures and opportunities for improvements
- Metrology and dimensioning experience preferably using manual tools and CMM equipment
- Able to travel occasionally across UK and EU
