Opportunity to join an established, stable, market leading manufacturing business and contribute to their on-going success through strategic purchasing initiatives.

What you’ll be doing:

• Analyse demand and production plans to ensure availability of materials and components in a fast-paced, multi-stage manufacturing process
• Management of supplier relationships
• Working with on-site management team to ensure materials inventory meets near term and projected demand
• Planning, running and managing MRP
• Manage small procurement team
• Occasional overseas travel to suppliers

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Proven ability to analyse highly variable production and demand data and turn into a reliable materials and inventory supply plan
• Extensive MRP management experience, preferably from a multi-product manufacturing environment
• Ability to manage and build relationships with overseas suppliers in Far East
• Excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills
• Able to travel occasionally overseas
• Excellent IT skills including MS Excel
