The Role
We’re working with a leading contractor delivering large-scale, mission-critical data centre projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of technically complex schemes from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
You’ll be responsible for managing programme, cost, quality and safety, with a strong focus on MEP-led delivery, resilience and uptime across live and new-build environments.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end project delivery on data centre and critical infrastructure projects
- Managing MEP packages including power, cooling, BMS and life safety systems
- Coordinating subcontractors, consultants and client stakeholders
- Driving programme, cost control and risk management
- Ensuring compliance with Tier III / IV requirements, commissioning and handover
- Maintaining high standards of H&S, quality and technical compliance
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering data centre or mission-critical projects
- Strong MEP background (electrical or mechanical bias preferred)
- Experience working on projects typically £10m+ in value
- Comfortable managing fast-paced, technically demanding programmes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
