A well-established mechanical contractor specialising in commercial fit out is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to deliver CAT A & CAT B projects across office, retail and mixed-use schemes, with mechanical package values up to £3–5m. This is a hands-on role managing projects from pre-construction through to final handover, working closely with main contractors, consultants and site teams.
The Role
- Manage mechanical services delivery on commercial fit out projects
- Take full ownership of mechanical packages up to £3–5m
- Oversee HVAC, ductwork, pipework and associated plant installations
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal site teams
- Manage programme, cost control and variations
- Lead commissioning, snagging and final handover processes
About You
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within commercial fit out
- Strong technical background in HVAC and building services
- Experience delivering mechanical packages valued up to £3–10m
- CAT A / CAT B project experience essential
- Commercially astute, organised and delivery-focused
- SMSTS / CSCS preferred
