About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Project Manager to oversee CAT A and CAT B commercial office fit-out projects in the heart of London’s financial district (Bank). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking and reputable M&E contractor with a strong pipeline of high-spec projects. You will be responsible for managing electrical works from pre-construction through to final handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of CAT A and B electrical fit-out projects
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and main contractors
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and project specifications
- Monitor progress, manage snagging, and lead final handover process
- Produce and maintain project documentation including RAMS, progress reports, and commissioning schedules
- Manage budgets and project timelines effectively
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing electrical packages on CAT A/B commercial fit-out projects
- Strong knowledge of building services and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience working in fast-paced central London environments (ideally Bank or City)
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certified
- Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
- Relevant electrical qualifications (time served electrician, HNC/HND preferred)
