Mechanical Project Manager - Commercial Office Fit Out Location: Manchester / UK Wide Salary: £70,000 + £6,000 Car Allowance, Bonus, Pension, Private Healthcare Sector: Commercial Fit Out / Office Fit Out Projects: £10k – £2m My client is a successful Mechanical & Building Services contractor specialising in commercial and office fit-out projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager who is ready to take the next step into a Head of Projects / Senior PM position. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-sufficient, ambitious and driven Mechanical PM who wants greater responsibility and the opportunity to progress within a growing business. The Role You will be responsible for managing mechanical projects from pre-construction through to completion, overseeing projects ranging from smaller works through to approximately £2m in value. You will also have the opportunity to take on greater responsibility across the wider project function, working closely with senior management and helping to drive project delivery. Key Responsibilities * Managing mechanical projects from £10k – £2m * Full project ownership from mobilisation through to completion * Managing programmes, budgets, procurement and commercial performance * Managing subcontractors, suppliers and site teams * Working closely with clients, consultants and main contractors * Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget * Attending client and project meetings * Managing project documentation, variations and commercial matters * Supporting and mentoring junior project managers * Taking increasing responsibility across the wider projects team The Ideal Candidate * Experienced Mechanical Project Manager from a Building Services / M&E background * Strong commercial fit-out / office fit-out experience * Comfortable managing projects independently * Strong client-facing and communication skills * Commercially aware with good understanding of project financials * Ambitious and looking to progress into a Head of Projects position * Self-sufficient, motivated and hungry to progress * Experience managing projects up to £2m * Ideally educated to degree/HNC/HND level, although relevant experience will be considered Package * £70,000 basic salary * £6,000 car allowance * Performance/project-related bonus * Clear opportunity to progress into a Head of Projects position * Opportunity to work for a growing Mechanical Building Services contractor Please apply today to find out more
