Mechanical Supervisor – Projects Division Location: Dartford / London Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Van Sector: Building Services / M&E We are currently working with a leading MEP / Building Services contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join their growing Projects Division. This is a great opportunity for a mechanically biased professional who is looking to take ownership of projects, lead site teams and work alongside an experienced project management team on a range of high-value schemes. The Role As Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of mechanical installations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. Key responsibilities: * Supervising mechanical installation teams and subcontractors * Coordinating mechanical works with other trades and site management * Reading and working from drawings, specifications and programmes * Ensuring installations are completed to the required standards * Monitoring progress and reporting to the Project Manager * Managing labour, materials and site resources * Carrying out quality checks and ensuring compliance with RAMS * Attending site meetings and coordinating with clients and other contractors * Supporting commissioning and project handover * Maintaining strong health & safety standards across the project About You We are looking for someone with a strong mechanical building services background who has experience supervising projects within the commercial, residential, industrial or wider MEP sector. You will ideally have: * Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor / Mechanical Site Supervisor * Strong mechanical building services knowledge * Experience working for an M&E / MEP contractor * Ability to manage subcontractors and site teams * Good understanding of drawings, programmes and RAMS * Strong communication and organisational skills * Relevant mechanical qualifications The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity to join an established contractor with a strong project pipeline and genuine opportunities for career progression into Senior Supervisor, Project Manager or Contracts Manager positions.
