Location: London / Dartford Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 + package Sector: Building Services / MEP We are working with a leading MEP / Building Services contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their growing Projects Division. The business delivers a range of technically challenging mechanical projects, with a strong pipeline across commercial fit-out and healthcare/NHS environments. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager looking to join an established contractor with long-term career progression and a strong order book. The Role As Mechanical Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover. Key responsibilities: * Managing mechanical projects from £500k–£10m+ * Overall responsibility for programme, commercial performance and delivery * Managing project teams, subcontractors and suppliers * Coordinating mechanical services with electrical, construction and other trades * Managing design development and technical coordination * Reviewing drawings, specifications and project programmes * Attending client, design and progress meetings * Managing variations, valuations and project costs * Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification * Overseeing commissioning, snagging and final handover * Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and project stakeholders About You We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with a strong background in building services and either commercial fit-out or NHS/healthcare projects. You will ideally have: * Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager * Strong mechanical building services / MEP background * Commercial fit-out or NHS/healthcare experience * Experience managing projects from £500k upwards * Strong understanding of mechanical services, design and installation * Experience managing subcontractors and project teams * Good commercial and contractual awareness * Strong client-facing and communication skills * SMSTS and relevant mechanical qualifications The Opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing MEP contractor with a strong pipeline of projects and genuine opportunities for progression.
