About Us
We are a fast-growing and stable company with offices near Cardiff and Reading, specialising in the refrigeration and air conditioning sector. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a self-motivated and experienced engineer based in the Thames Valley/Home Counties to join our dedicated team.
What We Do
Our work includes the maintenance and repair work of cooling systems for large data centres, national critical infrastructure, several bluechip HQ as well as occasional retail locations. We have particular expertise in water chillers from a variety of leading manufacturers.
What We Offer
- Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (OTE £60,000 - £75,000, door to door)
- Holidays: 28 days annual leave + bank holidays.
- Pension: 5% employer contribution

- Company Van & Fuel Card including personal use
- On-Call Rota: 1 in 6 weeks £200/week standby
- Minimum 4 hours paid per callout at overtime rates
Requirements
- Time-served apprenticeship in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- NVQ / City & Guilds qualification in Refrigeration is highly desirable
- C&G 2079 for refrigerant handling
- Experience with hydrocarbons desirable
- Background working with chillers, CRAC units, AHUs, and associated pump systems
- Capable of working independently
- Appreciation and professional approach to working in critical business environments
- Willingness to support customer in all aspects of their mechanical/electrical and control systems relating to temperature control and conditioned air.
- Occasional installation and project work
- Good communicator including detailed written reports in English
- Full UK Driving Licence
