Line Up Aviation invites applications for the EHS Specialist role on a contract basis. This role supports the existing EHS team in line with continued business growth in the UK. The purpose is to provide practical support to management and employees to achieve a high standard of EHS performance, with responsibilities extending to additional locations within the region as required.

Responsibilities
- Provide practical support to management and employees to achieve a high standard of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) performance.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise EHS requirements while maintaining compliance with regional regulations.
- Prepare compliance and technical reports to meet Environmental, Health and Safety regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary EHS point of contact on site and interact with regulatory agencies as required, including preparing and submitting permit applications.
- Perform program reviews, investigate incidents, and provide corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Evaluate workplace hazards and provide input to new business opportunities and facilities projects to ensure compliance.
- Conduct education and training to support regulatory and business requirements.
- Evaluate the impact of new regulations on company operations.
- Review vendor, contractor, and supplier activities for EHS compliance with site processes and program goals.
- Provide EHS support at the allocated site and support other sites within the region as required, including occasional travel.
- Deliver day-to-day EHS support including risk assessments, EHS procedures, communications, inspections, induction training, EHS observations, emergency procedures, accident investigations, and environmental compliance and sustainability activities.
- Work closely with the wider regional EHS team.
Ideal Candidate
- Level 3 qualification in Health and Safety or Environmental Management.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Desirable experience working within an engineering or mechanical maintenance environment.
