Line-Up is a product-focused SaaS business building ticketing software for some of the most forward-thinking live entertainment organisations in the UK, US and beyond. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Part-Time Office Manager to help keep our Farringdon office running smoothly and create a welcoming, well-organised environment for the team and our visitors. This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You’ll be the go-to person for the day-to-day running of the office, from facilities and suppliers to meeting set-up, hospitality and general upkeep.
This is a part-time, office-based role, working 3 days per week from our Farringdon office. It’s a great fit for someone who is proactive, highly organised and enjoys creating a calm, efficient and well-run workplace. You’ll be trusted to manage a wide range of office operations independently, while working closely with the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the main point of contact for building management, cleaners, contractors and other office suppliers.
- Coordinating office-related administration and payments, including rent, utilities, business rates and invoice tracking.
- Ordering and managing office supplies and consumables, ensuring shared spaces, kitchens and bathrooms are well stocked and running smoothly.
- Receiving and managing office mail, deliveries and incoming packages.
- Maintaining a professional, welcoming office environment for team members and visitors, including greeting guests and supporting with refreshments.
- Preparing the office for larger meetings, including board meetings and round tables, and managing meeting room bookings.
- Sourcing office equipment and carrying out research and price comparisons where needed.
- Tracking routine office compliance tasks, including monthly emergency light switch tests and fire drills.
- Troubleshooting day-to-day office and facilities issues and coordinating practical support as required.
- Helping organise team events and socials, including food and drink ordering and on-the-day preparation.
What you’ll bring:
- Previous experience in office management, workplace coordination, facilities support or a similar office operations role.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a broad range of responsibilities independently.
- Confidence dealing with suppliers, contractors and building management.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and strong attention to detail.
- Warm, professional communication skills and a welcoming approach with colleagues and visitors.
- Good judgement, common sense and the ability to notice what needs doing and take the initiative to keep things moving.
Desirable
- Experience in a startup, scale-up or small business environment.
- Familiarity with invoice or expense tools such as Xero and Dext.
- Experience supporting in-person meetings, leadership visits or hospitality in a professional office environment.
- Basic understanding of office health and safety or facilities compliance tasks.
