I am seeking a Paint Sprayer to join my renowned aviation industry client based in Hayes, West London. You will be responsible for the preparation and application of protective and decorative coatings on aerospace components in accordance with various specifications to produce the required finish. Work is performed in a controlled spray booth environment and some previous component paint spraying experience is essential.

Location: Hayes, Middlesex

Shift: Mon-Fri. Week 1, 06:00 - 14:00. Week 2, 13:55 - 21:55. Overtime may be available at weekends.

Salary: From 28,898 - c. 31,500 (depending on experience). PLUS Shift Allowance. PLUS Great Benefits Package.

Main Paint Sprayer responsibilities:
  • Prepare & apply Aerospace grade sealing compounds & paint systems to manufacturer's criteria
  • Ability to mix paint compounds to manufacturer's criteria
  • Surface Preparation & masking of components
  • Ability to use spraying equipment and general maintenance of such
  • Monitoring of booth and oven capabilities and understanding what is required to achieve maximum efficiency from these
  • Awareness of waste disposal management
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Previous paint spraying experience, in aerospace, automotive or engineering industries.
  • Familiarity with aerospace paint systems and specifications (e.g., chromate primer, polyurethane topcoat)
  • Educated to GCSE level minimum or equivalent
  • Ideally holds an Engineering apprenticeship
  • Competent in the use of hand held spray equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, process instructions, and coating specs.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety practices relating to hazardous materials
