On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Supply Chain Planner on an initial 12‑month contract at Line Up. The role involves planning and managing all transactional elements of parts supply to internal and external customers, ensuring master schedule is achieved, maintained, and assets optimised.

Pay: £29 per hour via Umbrella

Location: Belfast

Contract: Monday – Friday, 36 hours per week (Mon – Thurs 8:15‑4:45, Fri 8:00‑12:00); 12‑month contract

IR35 Status: Inside

Security Clearance: BPSS

Responsibilities:

  • Accurate & timely reporting and governance of supply chain data to the Operations team
  • Communicate Parts Supply Enablement profiles
  • Maintain operational systems to the highest levels of data accuracy
  • Parameter management to ensure optimum utilized assets
  • Work in and support a Natural Team
  • Provide and analyse forward load and capacity plans, including Line of Balance updates
  • Timely delivery of parts to shopfloor and external customers

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of an HNC or relevant professional qualification (e.g. CPIM, CIPS) and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience within Supply Chain; alternatively, lesser-qualified candidates with at least 3 years’ relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Knowledge and experience of MRP Planning System is essential.
  • Basic working knowledge of related Supply Chain processes.
  • Knowledge of Thermal Vacuum techniques/systems & Space environmental conditions in a test environment.
