Our client is currently looking for a Clinical Screening Team Leader - Registered Nurse to join them on a permanent basis. As the Clinical Screening Team Leader - Registered Nurse you will support the candidates in their journey to joining the Army. You will oversee the delivery of medical assessments in a professional, supportive and candidate focused environment.
Location: Westbury
Hours: Full Time - Monday to Friday 09:00-17:30
Salary: £43,000
Responsibilities:
- Leading and overseeing the delivery of medical screening activities.
- Managing and developing medical screening staff, supporting training, auditing and professional development.
- Conducting and reviewing clinical assessments and medical tests, ensuring accurate outcomes and appropriate decision-making.
- Providing clinical expertise and advice, liaising with doctors and healthcare professionals as required.
- Maintaining high standards of clinical governance, patient care, infection control and safe working practices.
- Coordinating medical resources, equipment and clinic operations to ensure smooth day-to-day delivery.
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (NMC) with no restrictions, sanctions or pending hearings.
- Experience within health screening, occupational health, primary care, military healthcare or another clinical assessment environment.
- An understanding of clinical testing equipment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, doctors and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to prioritise workload, make sound clinical decisions and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel.
