Contract Type: Fulltime, Monday – Friday, Onsite.
Pay and Contract: Hourly Rate: Competitive (Umbrella) Inside IR35. Contract duration: 18 months renewable.
Eligibility: Applicants must be UK citizens at the time of application and must be able to obtain relevant national security clearance. Ideally, you will already hold SC clearance.
Scope of Role:
- Assurance of CAMO personnel competence
- Assurance of all Core and non-Core CAMO tasks, processes and procedures
- Assurance of CAME compliance with Regulation
- CAMO audit activity
- Provide assurance of continued compliance with the requirements of MAA approval of the Military CAM
Responsibilities:
- Monitor all Military CAMO activities performed in accordance with RA 4900 - 4974 (MRP Part M)
- Verify and validate procedures and changes within the CAME
- Use product sampling and checks
- Coordinate across applicable organizations, including maintenance, delivery teams, and CAMO activities
- Ensure all aspects of compliance are checked annually, including subcontracted activities
- Manage assurance of Alternative Acceptable Means of Compliance, Waivers and Exemption submissions and their ongoing management
- Ensure maintenance activity conducted by maintenance organizations adequately supports continuing airworthiness, through audits or monitoring of audit programs
- Monitor subcontracted CAMO tasks and ensure documented agreements are in place
- Define responsibilities for departments and assign a CAMO person in charge
- Document the number and competence of personnel for these tasks
- Communicate and agree changes to task resourcing
- Reference the activities in the CAME
- Arrange regular corrective action meetings with the Military Continuing Airworthiness Manager and Deputy Continuing Airworthiness Manager to review progress and decide extensions, reporting findings appropriately
