Our client has an opportunity for a Technical Author to join them on a contract basis for 6-months. The ideal candidate will have a talent for translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and engaging documentation. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create and maintain high-quality materials that support our products and users. Role: Technical Author Location: Stevenage. 2/3 days onsite, however must be flexible if more are needed Hours: 37 per week Clearance: BPSS required to start, full SC to follow Hourly Rate: Up to £50 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35 depending on experience Travel: Some UK travel will be required What you'll be doing: Write, edit, and maintain technical documents, including user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, and online help resources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse technical information. Organize and structure content to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy. Use documentation tools and content management systems to develop and manage content. Ensure all documentation aligns with company branding and style guidelines.
