On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Manufacturing Planning Coordinator for a 12-month contract. As the Manufacturing Planning Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting Test Equipment Offload requirements across multiple programmes within a fast-paced aerospace and defence manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring offload activities, managing work through SAP, maintaining accurate delivery forecasts, and ensuring programme requirements are achieved within agreed timescales.
Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Logistics and external suppliers, you will help maintain effective workflows, resolve issues, support KPI performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
Requirements:
- Release, manage all work in the SAP system, and ensure delivery forecasts are maintained and communicated to customers.
- Support the achievement of schedule adherence, inventory and delivery KPIs through the execution of the planning process.
- Maintain records within a Data Management System, processing data to ensure a degree of accuracy.
- Maintain cross-functional alignment - acting as a bridge between Engineering Project Managers/Design, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality & external vendors to keep workflows coordinated and avoid bottlenecks.
- Work closely with Goods Receiving, stores and dispatch (Logistic Services) to resolve queries, maintain SAP system accuracy and ensure the required paperwork is submitted for stores and dispatch related transactions.
- Support effective non-conformance management controls.
- Provide advice and support to stakeholders, detailing best practice.
- Generate and develop documentation and communications to address frequently asked questions.
- Contribute to process improvement within the team.

- Experience using SAP.
- Strong planning/scheduling & coordination experience.
- Experience within Manufacturing, logistics or Supply chain.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work across different functions - Engineering, Manufacturing, procurement, quality, logistics and external suppliers.
- Experience in maintaining accurate data and KPI reporting.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Continuous improvement mindset and experience documenting processes.
- Quality and Non-conformance Management experience.
