We are thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Part 145 & Part 21 Quality Manager on behalf of our client. Our client is seeking a skilled Quality Manager with in-depth knowledge in UK CAA Part 145 and Part 21 regulatory compliance to lead their organization's compliance and safety initiatives. This role involves ensuring strict adherence to aviation safety standards, managing comprehensive risk assessments, and overseeing quality and compliance programs to uphold the highest levels of operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all operations comply with UK CAA Part 145 standards, implementing policies and procedures to maintain regulatory adherence. Conduct internal audits and safety inspections. Ensure maintenance practices align with regulatory requirements. Conduct compliance assessments and audits in alignment with Part 21 regulations, covering aircraft design, production, and certification processes. Ensure internal processes align with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Safety Management: Oversee safety programs, conducting regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks. Ensure adherence to quality management standards such as ISO9100. Analyse incidents, hazards, and operational risks. Encourage a culture of safety and proactive hazard identification. Implement and oversee the Safety Management System focused on Part 21 & Part 145 compliance. Identify and assess risks specific to design and production, promoting hazard awareness among staff.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Perform risk assessments related to maintenance activities, creating actionable plans to address identified risks.
  • Audit Program Leadership: Plan, manage, and execute internal audits and inspections across departments to monitor compliance and safety performance.
  • Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into any compliance or safety-related incidents, preparing reports, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on compliance standards, safety protocols, and best practices. Increase staff awareness of Part 21 and Part 145 standards and foster a strong culture for safety.

Required Experience:

  • 5 Years experience in quality within a Part 145 & Part 21 environment
  • Internal Auditor Experience - ISO9100
  • Regulatory Training in Part 145
  • Regulatory Training in Part 21
  • SMS Training
  • Human Factors Training
  • Must have the rights to work and live in the UK at time of application.
