Line Up Aviation is recruiting for an experienced Shift Supervisor to join a busy aircraft base maintenance operation in Prestwick. This is a hands-on supervisory role, leading the shift while also carrying out aircraft certification duties within the scope of your licence and company approvals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise and allocate maintenance activity across the shift.
- Carry out aircraft certification duties within the scope of your licence and authorisations.
- Monitor maintenance progress, productivity and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to Licensed Engineers and maintenance personnel.
- Ensure maintenance records and documentation are completed accurately.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with regulatory, company and Health & Safety requirements.
Requirements
- UK CAA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
- Recent certification experience on at least two of the following aircraft types: A320, A330, B737 or B787.
- Minimum 5 years' hands-on aircraft certification experience with appropriate company authorisation.
- Strong aircraft maintenance and airworthiness knowledge.
- Recognised aircraft industry apprenticeship, diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Good leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Previous supervisory or management experience within aircraft maintenance is highly desirable.
- UK CAA C Licence desirable.
