Overview
Our client has an opportunity for a Production Scheduler to join them on a contract basis until October 2026. You will be joining a team that is critical to the success of the business operating in a vibrant and diverse place to work.
Role details
- Role: Production Scheduler
- Location: Broughton, Flintshire – fully onsite
- Hours: 35 per week
- Clearance: BPSS required before starting
- Hourly Rate: £29.51 via Umbrella, inside IR35
What you\\\’ll be doing
- As the Planning & Logistics Production Scheduler, evaluated risks and contributed to continuous improvement of EHS performance through improved processes for the design, manufacture, assembly and procurement of supply of products, services and equipment.
- Support operations for the delivery of all aircraft part commodities to achieve build, cost and delivery targets.
- Work as part of a multifunctional team on projects aimed at improving business performance and address day-to-day issues as they arise.
- Provide support to the Operational Business Areas to enable the financial man hours per set to be achieved.
- Anticipate and respond to rate changes and manage risks and opportunities.
- Support and enable Operational & Functional deliverables and adapt quickly to changes in production.
- Support to ensure the (AOS) is deployed in all relevant areas.
- Build a strong interface with Procurement to anticipate and mitigate supplier performance risks and minimize impact to Operations.
- Ensure a strong interface with the Logistic Service Provider (LSP) to ensure logistical processes are followed and non-adherences are addressed.
Requirements
- Advanced Google Sheets skills (including macros and data manipulation)
- Manufacturing background preferred; open to other industries with strong planning experience
- Excellent organisational skills
- Results-driven, logical and methodical approach to achieving tasks and objectives
- Determined and decisive; uses initiative to develop effective solutions
- Excellent interpersonal skills – good communicator
- Great teamworker – adaptable and flexible
- SAP Planning & Logistics knowledge & experience preferable
