Our client has an opportunity for a Security Support Officer to join them on a 12-month contract. As the Security Support Officer, you will support site security operations across the Material Support Facility and wider business park, ensuring compliance with MOD, HMG, NPSA and company standards. The role will include visitor access control, reception and goods-in security tasks, travel security support, and security reporting to support effective operational decision making.

Location: Brize Norton

Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, 12-month contract - possible extension

Hourly Rate: £30.09 per hour Umbrella - inside IR35

Clearance: BPSS

What you'll be doing:

  • Maintain and update department files and records and effectively answering routine enquiries.
  • Attend to customers arriving at the Material Support Facility.
  • Maintain mandatory forms and databases.
  • Ensure security forms are up to date, compliant and aligned across the Site.
  • Process Inward/Outward visitors in accordance with HMG/Airbus standards.
  • Inform Security Operations Officer of any security issues, as and when they occur.
  • Create reports, when required, from the security systems and tools available - Security metrics, social media/comms, travel risk assessments.
  • Support other members of the security office, as necessary within capability.
  • To provide resilience for the security office, be able to carry out the duties and responsibilities as required.
