Job Title: Off Wing Operations Manager Location: Heathrow Airport Contract Type: Permanent, Fulltime Package: Competitive + Bens Scope of Role Responsible for the management, leadership, and overall delivery of the Off-Wing Operations function for our established client at LHR. This role ensures full compliance with company policies, procedures, and all relevant regulatory requirements, while driving continuous departmental improvement. Key duties include leading, coaching, and developing Off-Wing Operations staff, ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with applicable safety legislation and regulatory standards. The role also ensures strict adherence to our clients existing systems, processes, and policies, while promoting and upholding the company\’s Vision, Mission, and Values. Accountable for Operations Management & Execution Off-Wing Operations delivery and execution of the plans/schedules in line with customer requirements Co-ordinating resources, materials, tooling & documentation to enable operational delivery Leading and driving functional operational meetings, ensuring all VMB\’s are maintained and updated Ensuring the correct capabilities are established to support all Off-Wing maintenance activities Supporting long-term planning & forecasting Developing the Off-Wing Operations budget and manage cost controls to the agreed budget Sponsoring, leading and co-ordinating improvement projects and activities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, safety, compliance. Developing and implementing a strategy to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs Developing internal KPI\’s and metrics as needed to manage the performance of the Off-Wing Operations function Providing weekly and monthly reports delivery reports to the Head of GES EMEA Qualification & Experience Experience of leadership in an aviation / engineering / manufacturing operational delivery-based role Knowledge of aviation regulations, including EASA Part 145 Familiarisation of AMOS or other MRP systems is preferable
