Aviation MRO client seeking a qualified NDT Technician with EN4179 level 2 (or aerospace equivalent) in Eddy Current inspection.
Responsibilities
- Test aircraft components using Eddy Current NDT methods.
- Undertake material handling, including slings and jigs (training provided).
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure legal operation.
- Adhere to strict Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and manual handling techniques.
- Maintain a clean, tidy workspace and comply with 5S standards.
- Move heavy aircraft components (hoist and crane training provided).
- Demonstrate good planning, organisation, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Administer tasks and be PC‑literate; SAP knowledge is ideal.
Qualifications
- Holds an EN4179 level 2 qualification (or aerospace equivalent) in Eddy Current inspection (essential).
- Experience working to EASA Part requirements.
- Basic knowledge of EASA, CAA, FAA requirements and other applicable aviation regulations.
- Right to live and work in the UK; sponsorship not available.
