On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit an Industrial Assembly Engineer on an initial 7-month contract. As an Industrial Assembly Engineer you will be responsible for applying strong technical and project management skills to research, develop, and deliver new technology projects that will benefit the Broughton plant, with a focus on drilling and fastening equipment and processes for aircraft wing structure.
Responsibilities:
- Deployment and support of Drilling & Fastening equipment (Semi-Automated and manual).
- Defining new equipment and developing new drilling and fastening assembly processes.
- Project managing and providing technical support to existing machinery.
- Implementing continuous improvement projects into the wing manufacturing processes.
- Interfacing with internal customers, support functions, transnational counterparts, and external suppliers.
- Delivery of projects and support related to semi-automated and manual drilling and fastening equipment (ADU & ABE).
- Developing, documenting, and supporting productivity improvements with ME communities and customers.
- Management of Continuous Improvement and EHS Projects.
