Line Up Aviation has carved its own place in the recruitment of Aviation and Aerospace personnel all over the world for more than 35 years. We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Control Centre Engineer to join our client's AOG operations team based at Stansted. This role will coordinate global Aircraft on Ground recoveries and special projects, acting as a central point of contact for customers, suppliers and internal teams. The successful candidate will manage recovery planning, resources, logistics, costs and communications to support the safe and efficient return of aircraft to service.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate global AOG recoveries and special projects.
- Produce recovery plans, timelines and estimated return-to-service dates.
- Arrange engineering resources, parts, tooling, travel and accommodation.
- Provide regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Liaise with approved suppliers and service providers.
- Record operational costs and raise purchase requisitions.
- Ensure all activities are carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Support the Operations Manager with the day-to-day running of the Maintenance Control Centre.
Requirements
- Proven technical experience within aviation maintenance.
- Good knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance practices.
- Experience in maintenance planning, production planning or resource coordination.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage changing priorities within a time-critical environment.
- Commercial awareness and a professional, solutions-focused approach.
- A relevant aviation qualification or at least four years' experience within the aviation sector.
- The right to work in the UK.
