Material Controller

An opportunity has arisen with my client for a Material Controller based in Manchester. The Material Controller is essential in ensuring the seamless and efficient movement of aviation parts, tools, and consumables within the Stores operation. This role involves maintaining precise inventory management, coordinating material transfers, and ensuring compliance with aviation regulatory standards to support aircraft maintenance operations.\\n\\nRole: Material Controller \\n Salary: Upon Application\\n Location: Manchester\\n Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday -( Monday to Thursday 07.00-16.00 and Friday 07.00-13.00)\\n\\nResponsibilities -\\n\\nReceive, inspect, and store parts and materials accurately in line with Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).\\nMonitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid shortages, maintaining optimum inventory levels.\\nIssue parts, tools, and consumables to maintenance teams as per requests.\\nCoordinate the movement of materials across stations to meet operational demands and operational priorities.\\nEnsure all parts are handled appropriately to prevent damage and ensure compliance with storage and handling standards.\\nEnsure materials are processed in compliance with CAA, EASA Part 145, and company quality standards.\\nSupport audits by providing detailed stock reports and evidence of regulatory compliance.\\nAccurately update stock records in ERP or warehouse management systems.\\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements in stores operations, focusing on efficiency and accuracy.\\n Experience & Qualifications\\n\\nTwo years stores experience within aviation (or similar industry)\\nKnowledge of AMOS and/or similar ERPs.\\nAbility to work autonomously\\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\\nAttention to detail\\nFlexibility\\nAbility to analyse data\\nExcellent computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel etc.)\\nResilient with the ability to deliver results under pressure\\nAbility to deal with people at all levels of the organisation\\n If you are interested in applying for this position and you meet the requirements, please send your updated CV to: at Line Up Aviation.\\n Line Up Aviation has carved its own place in the recruitment of Aviation and Aerospace personnel all over the world for more than 30 years.
