Our client has an opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join them on a contract basis for 6 months.
You will be supporting on the financial reporting on defence projects and support to future bid campaigns.
Role: Financial Analyst
Location: Oxford, minimum 3 days on site per week, could be more depending on project needs.
- Clearance: Must be eligible for MOD Security Clearance
- Hourly Rate: £37.01 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35
What you'll be doing
- Payroll journals & processing
- Fixed asset control and monitoring
- VAT Returns
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Intercompany invoicing
- Support with statutory audit
- Forex reporting
- Month end tasks
Requirements
- Good working knowledge of finance principles
- Experience with payroll
- Asset control and monitoring
- Invoicing
- Forex reporting
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good report and procedure writing skills
- Use of MS office and Excel in particular
- Ability to coordinate a number of tasks simultaneously, and to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
- Solid understanding of work package management and work package control
- Knowledge of risk management principles
Other requirements
- Travel within UK and occasional travel within Europe
- Full driving licence preferred but not essential
- Eligible for Mo D Security Clearance
