Our client has an opportunity for a Fire Risk Assessor to join them on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for the planning, scheduling and delivery of life safety fire risk assessments (FRAs) across the Defence estate, and provide fire safety advice, in order that Defence can manage fire risk effectively and protect its people and property.

You will be expected to travel 2-3 days per week across the South/South East Region of the UK, the remainder of the week will be home based. Travel and accommodation expenses are provided.

What you'll be doing:

  • Working remotely, using MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Teams) along with our internal system to forecast, plan and manage an ongoing programme of FRA visits
  • Travelling to a wide range of Defence sites across the region (a vehicle is provided)
  • Planning an efficient programme, taking into account various factors
