Our client has an opportunity for a Data Engineer to join them on a contract until the end of 2026 with possible extension.
Location: Filton, 60%
Hours: 35 per week
Hourly Rate: Β£40.00 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35
Clearance: BPSS required before starting
What you'll be doing:
- Support Data management implementation within LG domain (e.g. network attached data containment)
- Support LG data improvement projects (e.g. site pages, documentation)
- Ensure the control and management of the produced data within the LG operational domains
- Support preparation of data governance guideline documents and other required communication materials.
Requirements:
- Windows command line and scripting
- Data analytics (basic level) & reporting
- Able to interact with many stakeholders and have a willingness to support others when needed
- Agile and flexible in their approach and be able to work autonomously when required.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Data Management processes
- Business Data Modelling skills
- Python programming
- Google workspace / sites management experience
