Job Description
Our client has an opportunity for a Customer Logistics Manager to join them on a contract basis for 12 months. You will be responsible for identifying and developing new opportunities in conjunction with suppliers and customers.\\n\\nRole: Customer Logistics Manager \\n Location: Oxford – fully onsite\\n Hours: 35 per week\\n Hourly Rate: £22.44 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35\\n Clearance: BPSS required before starting\\n\\nWhat you'll be doing:\\n\\nTo provide necessary support to senior Management in pursuance of overall Divisional and Company targets and objectives.\\nTo develop, maintain and improve successful relationships with the Supply Chain Partners and Customer.\\nDevelop and maintain a teamwork approach to working with colleagues.\\nDemonstrate appropriate Commercial awareness in all business activities ensuring that the commercial position is adequately safeguarded at all times.\\nRecognise potential new business opportunities and highlight such potential opportunities to Senior Management.\\nEnsure authorisation of business transactions, customer quotations, purchase orders and charging instructions within Company Policy and deadlines.\\nAct as the main point of contact for all supplier and customer inquiries, attend necessary meetings, and advocate for the customer's voice internally.\\nTo identify and resolve issues of a problematic nature at onset where possible through discussion / negotiation with the supplier / customer base.\\nTo ensure that customers are fully aware of any supply issues which may compromise production and operations.\\nTo ensure the application of SAP AiO & EC2 consistent with the training received and all work instructions within your possession.\\nTo maintain departmental administrative systems and provide accurate documentation in order that support functions can operate efficiently i.e. cost file maintenance, product description database, invoice queries.\\nTo support and promote continuous improvement programmes.\\nTo support with customs clearance elements following company procedures\\nEnsure awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.\\nTo provide regular reports on progress of investigations and work in progress to the Team Leaders.\\nTo coordinate the functioning of a specific product area or platform in the Material Management Division, as directed by the Team Leader.\\nTo be capable of providing temporary holiday cover for another product area or platform.\\nEnhancing customer satisfaction through active contribution.\\nTo ensure adherence to the Code of Conduct.\\n Requirements:\\n Essential\\n\\nCapable of effectively communicating ideas and information to a diverse range of internal and external audiences, utilising both written and verbal communication methods.\\nStrong Logistics experience\\nCustomer-centric mindset, ensuring the customer's viewpoint remains the highest.\\nAble to organise time and resources effectively to achieve goals and objectives.\\nProficient in analytical and problem solving skills.\\nAbility to work independently and handle multiple tasks.\\nProficient in both Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.\\nAbility to unite and involve as a team; or a team player.\\nPositive, self motivated, enthusiastic and flexible.\\nProficiency in handling stress and approaching challenges with a positive mindset.\\n Desirable\\n\\nExperience with SAP or similar enterprise systems.\\nKnowledge on UK Customs and export regulations\\nCompliance with procurement, competition law and legislative requirements\\nUnderstanding contracts with all constraints.\\nAutonomy synthesis and coordination skills.\\nFrench and/or German Speaking\\n If you are interested in applying for this position and you meet the requirements, please apply!\\n\\nLine Up Aviation has carved its own place in the recruitment of Aviation and Aerospace personnel all over the world for more than 30 years.
