On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit several Warehouse Repairs Operatives to join them on a contract until November 2026.
Role: Warehouse Repairs Operative
Pay: £18.35 per hour via an Umbrella company, inside IR35
Location: Chippenham
Contract: 39 hours per week, 4 days on, 4 days off rotation
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Until 30th November 2026
Responsibilities:
- Removing product for repair from tote or cardboard box, ensuring the label and all parts stay with the unit for repair.
- Emptying the bins, blowing out the dust from cyclones, bins etc. using our dust boxes, and wiping off any dust or dirt prior to booking in.
- Stacking empty totes onto pallets and using the Robot Wrapper to wrap the pallet for safe collection. Full wrapper training will be required.
- Supporting the recycling of our cardboard boxes by loading and emptying, if necessary, our 2 cardboard balers.
- Making up all shapes and sizes of boxes and inserts in preparation for the repair to be packed and dispatched back to the customer.
- Packing the repaired unit for return to the customer, ensuring the correct packaging and inserts are used.
- Booking Goods In and out.
A dynamic, enthusiastic and collaborative professional, with 1-2 years of goods in receiving / Warehouse Operative experience.
Willingness to learn and join in an active, high energy and high performing team.
Physically able to walk and stand throughout the shift.
Experience in using in-house systems.
Additional Information:
- Own DBS certificate will be required to be obtained.
- Credit Check will be carried out.
- 2 years referencing will be required along with proof of address and proof of NI.
- Full Driving license required.
- Steel Toe Cap shoes and own Hi Vis required.
