On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a T400 Stress Engineer on an initial 12-month contract. You will be operating as a Stress Engineer within the Broughton Wing Plant Engineering Team working alongside existing stress analysts.
Role: T400 Stress Engineer (Night Shift)
Pay: £46 - £52 per hour Via Umbrella + Shift allowance
Location: Broughton / Filton
Contract: Monday to Thursday 8:45pm - 6:00am, 12-month contract
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: BPSS
Responsibilities:
- Perform static structural analysis on both composite and metallic structures.
- Analyse and validate Metallic, Composites / Hybrids structures at component level for Static strength, F&DT and produce relevant strength margins or reserve factors according to validated and applicable methods & sizing processes.
- Ability to provide stress analyses for the repair/acceptance of metallic, composites/hybrids structures.
- Ensure airworthiness requirements for aircraft structures.
Essential Skills:
- Ideally held T400 Concessions Approval previously.
- Experience with other aircrafts, military aircraft or product knowledge.
Desirable Skills:
- Open to candidates who don't hold an approval but have relevant stress and/or concessions experience.
