Line Up Aviation is working with a leading aviation client who is looking to appoint an A Licensed Engineer to join their maintenance operation at London Luton Airport. This is a permanent opportunity working a 5-5-4 shift pattern covering days and nights.
The successful candidate must hold a UK CAA Category A Licence and have hands-on maintenance experience working on Airbus A320 aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Carry out aircraft maintenance in accordance with approved data, company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Certify maintenance tasks within the scope of your licence and company authorisations.
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, defect rectification and component replacements.
- Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting aircraft defects.
- Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain compliance with UK CAA regulations, company procedures and safety standards.
- Work closely with B1/B2 Licensed Engineers, mechanics and wider maintenance teams.
- Promote a strong safety culture and support continuous improvement across the operation.
Essential Requirements
- UK CAA Part-66 Category A Licence.
- Hands-on experience working on Airbus A320 aircraft.
- Base and/or line maintenance experience on commercial aircraft.
- Recognised apprenticeship, diploma or equivalent aircraft maintenance qualification.
- Valid right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to work a 5-5-4 shift pattern covering days and nights.
Desirable
- A320 type rating.
- Current or recent company approvals/authorisations on A320 aircraft.
- Previous line maintenance experience.
