The predicted salary is between 25 - 40 £ per hour.

Our client has an opportunity for a Build Process Engineer to join them on a contract basis until the end of the year with likely extension. You will be delivering build processes aligned with Industrial Architect and engineering definition with the main objective being to ensure industrial requirements are embedded into the Design Definition.

Role: Build Process Engineer

Location: Broughton, Flintshire. Fully onsite

Hours: 35 per week

Hourly Rate: £32.13 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35

Clearance: BPSS required before starting

What you'll be doing:

  • Create documented Industrial Dossiers/build process up to handover to serial planning phase.
  • To influence the product design and derive the process instructions concurrently.
  • Influence and approval of the product design - Design Data Set (DDS).
  • Manufacturing maturity of new technical solutions.
  • Support and influence the Manufacturing System.
  • Create Component Delivery Specifications (CDS).
  • Work in collaboration with the MFT to identify, analyse and solve technical issues.
  • Support the Manufacturing Engineering Elements of the Call for Tenders i.e. Tooling packages.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of wing manufacturing and operational processes to enable creation of build philosophies.
  • NVQ level 4 in essential.
  • Variety of engineering technical skills, drawing interrogation, specifications parts, tooling and documentation.
  • Understanding of product development/design process.
  • Awareness of health and safety standards and regulations.
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Project management.
  • Effective working in multi-functional teams.
