On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Surface Technology Specialist on an initial 9-month contract. As the Surface Technology Specialist, you will work on the development, qualification and technical support of the Surface Technologies used for Corrosion Protection, Tribology and other applications of Aircraft airframe. You will join a team of highly motivated and appreciated people to develop and deploy new benchmarks of robust and sustainable Surface Technologies such as high-performance paints and coatings, surface treatments/coatings and sealants.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and deploying Materials, Processes and Test Technologies for mature design and build.
- Providing corrosion protection, sealing concepts and solutions to enable design, build and operation of aircraft.
- Ensuring reactive support for improvement projects (performance improvement / cost and time reduction).
- Ensuring EHS (Environment Health and Safety) regulations (REACh) thanks to eco-efficient materials and processes.
- Adapting existing corrosion protection and sealing principles to a chromate free environment.
Essential Skills:
- Graduated in Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical or Material Engineering or a similar field of expertise.
