- Maintenance Planning Engineer (Contract)
- Hourly Rate: Β£40.11 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35
- Clearance: BPSS required before starting, full SC to follow
Responsibilities
- Follow the company procedures in order to ensure compliance.
- Liaise with the Maintenance Team and other key departments to ensure a common understanding of maintenance capability and capacity.
- Enter technical log utilisation data onto the MIS.
- Review of allocated aircraft maintenance status to ensure compliance with the approved maintenance programme.
- Preparation and review of maintenance variations.
- Identify provisional maintenance dates for allocated aircraft based on projected utilisation and keep the in-house maintenance planning calendar up to date.
- Review material requirements against provisional maintenance dates for allocated aircraft.
- Raise reservations/purchase requisitions for required materials.
- Liaise with Customer Support Managers to confirm maintenance dates with the owner/operator.
Essential Requirements
- Good understanding of aircraft maintenance planning and material planning requirements as related to Part CAMO / A8-25 & Part 145 / A8-23.
- Minimum 5 GCSE's Grade C or above or equivalent recognised qualifications (e. g. NVQ, BTEC).
- Methodical with acute attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work without supervision or as part of a team.
- Flexible work ethic focused on delivering against agreed timelines.
- Proactive β ability to recognise potential issues and apply remedial action before they raise concern or affect operations.
- Must have high computer literacy skills and be competent with Google Suite applications.
- Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
