On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit an Aircraft Electrical Fitter on an initial 12-month contract. As the Aircraft Electrical Fitter, you will be working for the largest helicopter manufacturer.

Role: Aircraft Electrical Fitter

Pay: £27.07 per hour Via Umbrella

Location: RAF Valley

Contract: Monday - Friday 40 hours per week, 12-month contract

IR35 Status: Inside

Security Clearance: BPSS, will require SC Clearance

Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations.
  • Accomplishment of Maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by nominated Shift Supervisor or Certifying Engineer.
  • Work to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.
  • Completion of maintenance, including avionic and electrical systems in accordance with written instructions laid down by OEM.
  • Conduct off-aircraft technical work in workshops as required.
  • Assist in day to day running of the aircraft Hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must have thorough knowledge of electrical and avionic systems.
  • Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or related discipline.
  • Knowledge of specialised test equipment relating to electrical and avionic systems.
  • Must have up to date knowledge of:
  • Flight/Airport Operations
  • Aircraft Line Maintenance
  • Aircraft Base Maintenance

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and UK MFTS.
  • Knowledge of EASA Part 145 and Part M regulations.
  • Experience on H135.
