On behalf of our global Defence client, we are currently recruiting a Process Engineer reporting to the Head of Safety, Airworthiness and Specialty Engineering.
Location: Bristol or Yeovil (on site).
Employment type: Contract (initially 6 months).
Working hours: Mon – Fri only.
Package: Competitive hourly rate inside IR35.
Security clearance: BPSS required.
Eligibility: You must hold UK working rights at the time of application. Sponsorship is not available.
Scope of Role
The Process Engineer will support our client's Engineering Management framework in providing oversight, assurance, implementation, and continual improvement of engineering process, process systems and process model governance within their Process Management systems. The role will help drive Engineering's compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, UK Military regulatory frameworks, and internal procedures, enabling the client to execute a wide and varied work scope across multiple customer environments (Land, Sea, Air and Digital).
The individual will apply Quality Management System, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to enable consistent, auditable, and efficient engineering process integration and governance across the end‑to‑end Development, Design, Production, Support, and Maintenance lifecycles.

- Develop, maintain and govern engineering processes and their integration into the client's Process Model for current and future states, ensuring alignment across the engineering value streams.
