The Role

We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join our growing team based in Halesowen. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of air conditioning systems across commercial and residential projects throughout the Midlands and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for an engineer who is confident working independently, commissioning their own installations, and delivering high-quality workmanship from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of split, multi-split, and VRV/VRF air conditioning systems.
  • Commissioning and testing of completed installations.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and industry standards.
  • Completing installation and commissioning documentation.
  • Liaising professionally with customers, site managers, and project teams.
  • Maintaining excellent health and safety standards on site.
  • Occasional out-of-town working and overnight stays when required.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in air conditioning installation.
  • Strong knowledge of split and VRV/VRF systems.
  • Ability to commission and hand over your own jobs.
  • Valid F-Gas certification.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Own hand tools.
