Our mission is to power biology's century with radically faster, more reliable clinical trials. Every new treatment needs clinical trials to prove safety and efficacy, but today's infrastructure is stuck in the past, driving up cost, causing delays and ultimately meaning new treatments don’t get to patients. We are fundamentally changing that - not just being a 'better CRO,' but transforming how people think about developing new treatments, so patients can access breakthrough treatments faster. Our impact speaks for itself: Since March 2021, we have powered 100+ clinical trials involving tens of thousands of patients. We recently raised a $55M Series B from Balderton Capital, alongside backing from Creandum, Firstminute, Seedcamp, and Visionaries.

What’s it like to work here? When you join us, you’ll experience:

  • High-Impact, Mission-Driven Work: Lindus Health is disrupting an outdated industry, giving you the chance to directly improve patients’ lives and see tangible results from your work.
  • Fast-Paced Growth & Ownership: We recognise hard work and outcomes over anything else. You’ll take on real responsibility, work across different areas, and actively shape the company’s success.
  • Collaborative, No-Ego Culture: Work with smart, driven people in a supportive and informal environment. At Lindus we break down silos, fun is a core value, and creativity is encouraged.

About the role: We are looking for a Solutions Architect to help us accelerate our growth and achieve our mission to power biology's century with radically faster, more reliable clinical trials. You will be a key member of our Deployment function, the team responsible for designing and delivering clinical trials on Citrus, our proprietary end-to-end clinical trial platform. From the moment a new study comes in, you are the person who understands what it will take to build it: assessing feasibility, defining the technical requirements, and making sure everything from design through to go-live is delivered to the standard our sponsors and participants deserve. You will sit at the intersection of Clinical Operations and Product, bridging the realities of trial delivery with the possibilities of what our platform can do, and serve as the primary technical point of contact for our sponsors throughout the trial lifecycle.

About you: We would like to hear from you if:

  • You have ideally 5+ years' experience in a relevant role delivering clinical trials (e.g., Data Manager, Solutions Engineer, Trial Coordinator, Trial Manager); clinical trial start-up experience is highly valued.
  • You have a demonstrated technical background, either through a degree (e.g., Computer Science, Bio‑medical Engineering or a related field) or through hands‑on experience in one of the following: software development, data management, product management, or technical project management.
  • You have a track record of success working with stakeholders across functions (e.g., Clinical Operations, Product, Data Management, Biostatistics, Commercial), and have a drive to understand and solve their problems.
  • You have solid project management skills to support cross‑functional teams in delivering to tight timelines.
  • You have great attention to detail, identifying gaps and ambiguities in a trial design early.
  • You are curious about how AI tools can be used responsibly and practically to improve the quality and speed of technical work, and have experience or a strong interest in applying them in a regulated or clinical context.

What you’ll focus on:

  • Reviewing incoming study protocols and sponsor requirements to assess what is technically feasible on Citrus, identifying complexity and risk early before build begins.
  • Writing detailed technical specifications that translate protocol requirements into precise build instructions, working closely with Clinical Operations, Data Management, Biostatistics, and Medical to make sure nothing gets lost between design and delivery.
  • Running the UAT process: setting scope and timelines, reviewing test scripts, working through findings with internal teams and sponsors, and deciding what needs to be resolved before a study goes live.
  • Reviewing post‑production change requests to assess their impact on data integrity, participant safety, and study endpoints, and determining what level of testing and sign‑off is required.
  • Staying across active studies throughout their lifecycle, evaluating the impact of platform upgrades, and triaging issues as they arise.

You belong here! If your experience and interests match with some of the above, we want you to apply.

What we offer: We believe in rewarding the people who are building the future of clinical research.

  • Financial & Growth: Competitive salary plus meaningful equity – you will own a piece of what we are building. £1,000 annual Learning & Development budget for courses, certifications, and conferences. 39 days annual leave (30 days PTO + 8 bank holidays + 1 James Lind Day).
  • Health & Wellbeing: £60 monthly wellness allowance with flexibility on how to spend this, including opting in to a company private health insurance or wellhub membership. Access to gym and retail discounts through Happl.
  • Culture & Connection: Monthly lunch vouchers for remote team members. Regular company events and team gatherings (both virtual and in‑person). Charity partnerships and volunteering opportunities with Forward Trust. Work with a team that is genuinely changing healthcare for the better.

Our Hiring Process: We believe hiring should be transparent, respectful of your time, and give you a real feel for what Lindus Health is like. Here’s what to expect:

  • Criteria: a 15 minute critical thinking and problem solving test.
  • Introduction with Sophie, our Talent Lead (30 mins).
  • Expertise interview with Veronica, hiring manager and VP of Deployment (30 minutes).
  • Technical interview with a Solutions Architect (Shreya, Connor, or Tatiana) and a member of our Clinical Operations team (Tessa, Danni, Keith, Sam, or Amy) (based on interviewer availability (60 minutes). Deep dive into your experience and how you would approach key challenges - this will include a take home task for you to prepare ahead of the call.
  • Values interview with Michael, one of our co‑founders and one other member of the wider team (30 mins).
