Our mission
All new medicines need to undergo clinical trials to show they’re safe and effective. But today’s clinical trial infrastructure is stuck in the past, and the cost of developing new medicines has skyrocketed as a result. Patients have to wait longer and pay more for new treatments.
Our mission is to fix this; we use software to help innovative companies run faster, more reliable, and patient-friendly clinical trials. We’re still a young company, but we’ve already had a big impact. Since founding the company in March 2021 we’ve helped run over 80 clinical trials involving tens of thousands of patients, with a customer NPS of 100.
We recently raised a $18m Series A round from some great investors including Creandum, Peter Thiel and Firstminute to power the next stage of our growth.
About the role
We’re looking for a resourcing manager to join our Clinical Operations team, responsible for the forecasting and allocation of resourcing across the department. We are on a mission to improve human health by revolutionising clinical trials and this role is at the heart of how we deliver on that mission.
This role would suit someone who has experience in team resource management in a fast-paced and fast-growing environment such as an agency or consulting firm. It will suit someone with strong proactivity, organisation, project management and communication skills.
You will report into our Clinical Operations Programme Lead and work closely with our Clinical Operations leadership team as well as our Commercial, Finance and Product functions.
About you
We’d like to hear from you if…
- You have experience of designing and running resource management programmes in a fast-growing start-up or scale-up environment, including at an agency or consulting firm.
- Experience working across multiple teams and stakeholders within a business.
- Strong organisational skills, including using Excel, Google Sheets and resource management software.
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and change when it comes to resource management.
- You have high agency and a bias for action.
- You are passionate and curious about our mission; changing how the healthcare industry operates and how new health treatments are developed.
You belong here! If your experience and interests match with some of the above, we want you to apply.
What you’ll focus on
- Support the Programme Lead and Clin Ops leadership team with the development of a resourcing process which reflects the needs and ways of working of our team.
- Own our resource management process for our global Clin Ops team, with long, medium and short term oversight and day to day management of resource needs and allocation.
- Work closely with our Clin Ops leadership team and Finance team on the reporting and forecasting of resource allocation, with regards to gross margin tracking.
- Work closely with our People and Talent team on the headcount needs within the Clin Ops team.
