We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Finishing Foreman to join our Peterborough team. You will be responsible for overseeing the final stages of projects on our sites which are generally within a 50 mile radius of the Peterborough office. We have a range of clients in a variety of sectors including affordable housing, food, retail, education, commercial, industrial and health. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high-quality finishes, coordinating trades, and delivering projects safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Managing and supervising finishing trades on site
- Ensuring all finishing works are completed to specification and quality standards
- Coordinating subcontractors and daily site activities
- Carrying out snagging inspections and overseeing remedial works
- Maintaining health & safety standards on site
- Reporting progress to Site Management and Project Managers
- Ensuring deadlines and programme targets are achieved
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Finishing Foreman within the construction industry
- Strong eye for detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to manage multiple trades and workloads effectively
- Good communication and leadership skills
- SSSTS/SMSTS and CSCS card preferred
- Full UK driving licence advantageous
