We are currently looking for a General Site Assistant to join our Homes division on a permanent, full-time basis. The role will be based at our Charterholme site (Lincoln) but there may be times when you are needed on our sites in Waddington and Scothern. Due to the travel involved, a full driving licence will be required.
Responsibilities
- General housekeeping, cleaning & site tidiness
- Overseeing subcontract trades housekeeping standards
- Locking / unlocking of plots & site welfare
- Assisting site trades & Site Management team
- Assisting Site Manager with deliveries / stock taking / materials storage & small plant coordination
- Assisting Site Manager with Site presentation standards
- Day to day health & safety coordination
- Elements of skilled site work such as pointing / mastic‑ing / touching up decorations / expanding foam work / minor repairs / insulation / protection
Qualifications & Requirements
- Desirable qualifications (but not essential) – SSSTS / 1st Aid / PASMA / Slinger / Banksman / Fire Marshall
- Driving licence & own vehicle required
Hours & Benefits
Hours of work are Mon – Thurs, 07:30 – 17:00, Fri 07:30 – 16:30. Benefits include 31 days annual leave including Bank Holidays, profit‑related pay, share option scheme, cash‑back health care plan, life assurance, contributory pension plus discounts at various stores and restaurants around Lincoln.
