Lindum BMS is the Group’s Building Maintenance Services division, specialising in construction projects in the Lincoln and extended East Midlands region, as well as planned and reactive minor works and maintenance jobs. We have a variety of clients in a range of sectors, including affordable housing, food, retail, education, commercial, industrial and health.
We are currently looking for an experienced Plasterer to join our property maintenance team. The successful candidate will carry out plastering repairs and maintenance work across residential and commercial properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. The role is full-time. Hours of work are 7.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday but will also require you to work out of hours (5pm - 7.30am) 1 week out of every 4. This is shared on a rota basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong plastering experience who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out all aspects of plastering repairs and maintenance
- Patch repairs, skimming, rendering, and ceiling repairs
- Prepare surfaces prior to plastering
- Work on occupied and void properties
- Ensure work areas are kept clean and safe
- Identify and report additional repair requirements
- Deliver excellent customer service while working in tenants’ homes and client premises
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Proven experience as a plasterer within maintenance or construction
- Ability to carry out a range of plastering tasks independently
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- CSCS card desirable
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently both alone and as part of a team
