Based at our Head Office in North Hykeham, Lindum BMS focuses on the Groups new build and refurbishment construction contracts up to Β£3m as well as planned and reactive maintenance works across the East Midlands. We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the Lindum BMS team working within minor works. You'll be joining a friendly, fun, practical and inspiring community. Applicants must have relevant experience as a QS in the construction industry. The role will involve working closely with the Delivery Team to efficiently plan and deliver a range of projects from new build extensions to large and small refurbishments, heritage works and Civils.
To communicate effectively with all parties and look after our clients at all stages of the project to ensure efficient and professional delivery. Responsibility for working closely with and helping the team deliver multiple projects simultaneously for our repeat valued clients with construction values ranging from 50k - 750k. The role will include subcontract procurement, payments and measures, cost management and valuations, build estimates and variation costings, forecasting and cost value reporting.
Applicants must have knowledge of JCT and NEC form of contracts. A full driving licence is required, as the role will involve work-related travel to sites. Above all, the right skills and attitude are what we're looking for, someone who is commercially astute, conscientious, works well in a team and is able to drive projects forward as well as develop good relationships with colleagues and clients.
