This role is based in our Head Office in Richmond Upon Thames with hybrid working (in the office 60% and WFH 40%).
How you could help us to Enchant the World with Chocolate
To lead the training and advocacy of our in-store shopper experience through the delivery of the Lindt Service Programme. Utilize the extensive materials and tools already in place to educate and upskill our Retail Stores through in-person and virtual training sessions. Partner with the global Retail team to lead and evolve in-store shopper experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead in-store shopper experience and selling culture as the UK & ROI Regional Service Champion.
- Create and facilitate our Retail training programme, targeting topics of commercial and brand importance.
- Act as an ambassador of our established Chocolate Essentials & Service Fundamentals training modules.
- In partnership with the Area Managers, lead on store specific training and L&D tools where required, targeting areas for performance improvement.
- Own and lead the on-boarding process for new Retail Store Management.
- Create and facilitate the Selling and Chocolate Expertise training programmes for all new store openings and refits.
- Proactively lead the continued evolution of all Service and Shopper Experience Learning and Development.
- Lead the engagement of our Retail Voice of the Consumer and Mystery Shop programmes.
- Partner with the Head of Retail and Area Managers to put training plans in place to address areas of consistent under performance.
- Support field & commercial teams with ongoing training around new product launches.
What Experience You’ll Bring
- Previous experience of leading Service and Selling in a national Retailer.
- Previous experience at Field Trainer level or above desirable.
- Experience of facilitating Learning and Development training and seminars, including some aspects of content creation.
- Highly developed presentation skills across a range of training mediums and group sizes; including internal and external participants.
- Ability to show agility with the changing needs of the business, excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to build strong and real relationships across all levels within Lindt including Global teams.
- A demonstrable understanding and passion for great Customer Service and a Selling Culture.
- Good working knowledge of P&L’s and commercial reporting, including the use of Excel.
- Ability to work across the UK & ROI, with overnight stays when required.
How You Will Be Rewarded Financially
Salary range: £58,000 - £68,000. Additional benefits include bonus, pension, life cover, chocolate allowance, chocolate giveaways, chocolate discount, £100 personal incentive, birthday day off and more.
