Role
In this role you will lead and evolve the B2B IT landscape at Lindt UK, ensuring systems and processes are strategically aligned with business goals. This includes:
- Responsibility for the B2B application suite locally with Global Process & Solution Owners
- Leading cross-functional stakeholder engagement and strategic planning
- Managing vendor relationships and international IT coordination
- Line managing a team of business partners and analysts to deliver operational excellence
- Driving continuous improvement, innovation, and digital transformation across B2B channels through global process owners, local process champions and superusers
You will support, advise, problem solve and improve system processes across the business-to-business IT landscape, including:
- Global SAP S4/HANA with focus on integration to UK & Ireland 3rd Party Logistic provider Warehouse & Transportation systems
- Global Master Data Management through Informatica & SAP MDL
- Local responsible for B2B SaaS solutions including Ecosio EDI, Product Specification & Go-to Market
- Local responsible for Automation solutions, including Winshuttle
Key Responsibilities Include
- Strategic IT Partnership & Demand Leadership
- Shape and govern the IT demand pipeline, aligning initiatives with business strategy
- Lead prioritisation and resource allocation across B2B IT initiatives
- Influence business planning cycles by embedding IT strategy and capability roadmaps
- Chair regular demand governance forums with senior stakeholders
- Stakeholder Engagement & Business Alignment
- Act as the senior IT representative for B2B, building trusted relationships with commercial, supply chain, and finance leaders
- Translate business strategy into IT capability needs and investment cases
- Lead cross-functional workshops to surface pain points, opportunities, and innovation themes
- Team Leadership & Capability Development
- Line manage and coach a team of IT Business Partners.
- Set clear objectives, development plans, and performance standards
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Lead succession planning and talent development within the IT Business Engagement team
- Solution Ownership & Process Excellence
- Own the end-to-end B2B application landscape, ensuring systems are fit-for-purpose and scalable
- Govern requirements definition, solution design, and change delivery
- Drive automation, integration, and simplification across B2B business processes
- Lead business case development and projects with key stakeholders and partners (local & global)
- Architecture & Innovation Leadership
- Shape and evolve the B2B systems capability roadmap in alignment with enterprise architecture
- Identify and sponsor innovation opportunities (e.g., AI, RPA, advanced analytics)
- Ensure systems and processes support future business models and growth plans
