Where you’ll be based
This role is currently based in Feltham, London (Hybrid Working: in the office 60% and WFH 40%). From 2026, our Head Office will be based in Richmond Upon Thames. There will be some travel to retail locations across the UK to understand and assess success of in-store activations and marketing initiatives.
How You Will Make An Impact
As Head of Retail Marketing, you will play an integral part within our Retail / D2C team where you will be responsible for enabling growth and elevating our brand credentials with highly engaging activations and visual merchandising and developing the product strategy both online and instore, ensuring that the Lindt Customer Experience is engaging and supports our Global purpose of Enchanting the World with Chocolate.
You will lead with an attitude that ultimately cultivates a collaborative and high performing culture with creativity and innovation at the core.
- Retail Brand Strategy and Marketing Operations
- Lead planning and strategy of high-impact marketing campaigns and in-store activations, ensuring strong brand presence and consumer engagement.
- Develop a comprehensive omni-channel marketing strategy that drives traffic and sales across retail stores and eCommerce.
- Develop and oversee the retail marketing budget, ensuring all campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
- Provide forecasts, identify opportunities for cost savings, and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
- Convert consumer & customer pain points to define & develop new commercial & new product growth initiatives.
- Support creation of marketing strategy for the D2C channel, leading for initiatives that drive penetration and strengthen brand equity.
- Identify and address key business issues, incorporating data, insights, and implications in recommendations.
- Collaborative Business Planning
- Work together with Brand Marketing teams to elevate our brand credentials through our stores.
- Collaborate with the CRM Team to understand opportunities for segmentation, personalisation, and customer lifecycle marketing to maximize engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to ensure that plans support the objectives of the Omnichannel marketing plan.
- Collaborate with Head of Merchandising and Head of Retail to ensure activations are effectively implemented in retail locations.
- Work with finance and cross-functional team to ensure financial targets and growth objectives are met.
- Innovation
- Own the development and execution of the innovation pipeline for our Retail and D2C Division. This is across both chocolate and ice creams and drinks.
- Communications Planning and Agency Management
- Inspire cross-functional teams to bring marketing strategies to life across all customer touchpoints.
- Partner with external brand partners to potentialise highly visible brand placements.
- People and Culture
- Lead and develop a team of 5 marketing specialists, championing individual growth, fostering innovation and ensuring alignment with company priorities and goals.
- Actively communicate expectations and provide regular feedback against those expectations, using monthly 121s and development plans to shape and guide their development.
- Conduct the annual performance management process, working with each team member to evaluate performance, provide feedback and training.

- Your proven experience in retail marketing and product development. Ideally this will be in the premium sector.
- Your expertise in developing and executing successful & impactful marketing campaigns.
- Your ability to convert objectives into clear actionable plans and effectively lead teams through successful execution.
- Your skills in project management, knowing you’ve led campaigns across on and offline from concept to execution.
- Great communication skills as well as interpersonal skills which align with our values.
- A passionate & inspiring Leader who with the ability to nurture & grow our already motivated and talented team.
- Your natural ability to interact cross functionally, both internally and externally.
- Your creative mindset, keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt in these dynamic market conditions.
- Proven experience in broad communication strategies. From actionable plans through to tactical execution, leading a team to deliver insight to action.
- Your confidence in having budget ownership and demonstrating commercial understanding.
How You Will Be Rewarded Financially
For the position of Head of Retail Marketing the salary range is £90,000 - £100,000. In addition, you will receive a benefits package including; car / car allowance, bonus, pension, life cover, chocolate allowance; chocolate give-aways, chocolate discount, £100 personal incentive, birthday day off and so much more!
